HEET began in 2001 because some people saw a need to not only make sure people were healthy but that their homes were healthy too.  Having a warm and drier home that doesn't suffer from mould on walls and windows, or cold drafts, is a crucial factor in family health.

We've expanded and now carry out the service in South Auckland, the Greater Waikato and Taumarunui.

We know there are still at least 40,000 homes in the Waikato region alone that are not insulated.  We also know the consequences of damp and cold homes – ill children and elderly people suffering, especially in winter.

HEET’s sole purpose is to insulate homes to improve people's lives and their short, medium and long term outcomes.
